New Years eve.....




Following on from the recent success of The Minchery Farm Reunion, Tony has decided to host a NYE event with his DJ partner, at a more fitting venue for our audience...

Do you remember when you went out in Oxford on a Saturday night, and everyone knew each other?


Do you remember clubs like Boodles, Baedeckers, Bacchas, DTMs, Caribbean Club, Barns Court, The Labour Club Headington, The Liberal Club? How about pubs like The Roebuck, The Bulldog, The Alehouse, Westgate, The Set, The Dolly, The Crown, Chequers? Looking back we all made an effort, boys in shirt, ties, jacket, girls in big hair, big heels, big make up.


Well, we thought we would try and get that spirit back, and bring in 2011 in a little style. We have the amazing venue that is the Kassam Stadium's Quadrangle Suite!!!


A big party, with big Soul, Funk, Boogie & RnB tunes from the 80s and onwards. We would love everyone to dress up, feel good and simply enjoy themselves. A grown up affair, but fun! We're also going to play up for the Salsa Dancers attending, so listen, watch, join in, enjoy!!

Teddy Bears Picnic, South Park, Oxford

Cotswold Wildlife Park, Burford.

Our summer holiday....

Over the summer went did many many things with the Toddler Group (they catered for children of all ages for the summer weeks). We went on a Teddy Bears picnic in South Parks (the Teddy Bears were very much abandoned when the parachute came out!), Barracks Lane Garden (which was amazing). We went to Cotswold Wildlife Park, Youlbury Camp, Marko loved the camp fire. An experience many children of his age would not get. The Baked bananas and chocolate were yummy although the toasted marshmallows were the best!

The main event of the summer was our visit to Butlins Minehead. I will be the first to admit I was more then apprehensive about going. Having been many years ago and being less than impressed. It was a great holiday, the kids didn't want to come home. We met Barney, Bob the Builder and an array of other characters. The kids fun fair was a big hit when it was wet. The shows were of a fantastic standard. Antonia did archery, beat boxing, street dancing and break dancing. The children's pools was beautiful. The rapids were great FUN!

We hope all our friends and family enjoyed their summer as much as we did.

A wonderful day out at Barracks Lane Garden.

We spent a wonderful day in the play garden with Marko's new Toddler Group. A great day was had by all. The rain added to the children's fun!
